Mashallah!

Our Masjid has been honored with an award for outstanding service and dedication to helping those with special needs. We are humbled with this honor, but know that the work is important not to be done.

This award is for our Masjid and not for an individual because without each and every one of you, none of it would have happened.

Without each one of you giving with your duaa, with your time, and financially this honor would not have been bestowed on us. 

However, this doesn't mean the fight for inclusivity is over. We have to keep bringing awareness and we must lead by example so that awards like this are no longer needed.

Everyone is welcome in the House of Allah, and everyone should also feel accepted.
